Fighting Style: Hitomi fights utilising the byakugen in combination with weapons. The byakugen allows her to see her targets more accurately and from all angles. She fights mainly with kunai, shuriken, and senbon; but has the knowledge of how to use other weapons if the opportunity arises. In addition, she uses wires to better control her weapons as well as offensively (essentially, her fighting style is similar to Sasuke's, especially in the first Naruto movies).
(This isn't at the chuunin level, is more like jounin or tokubetsu-jounin; but another method that Hitomi could eventually learn in chakra strings. The Gentle Fist style relies heavily on excellent chakra control, so Hitomi would've been trained to control her chakra well since childhood. Although she doesn't use Gentle Fist, this could manifest itself in another type of attack: controlling weaponry with chakra strings. This method is the same as used in puppetry jutsu and has the same advantages (and possible disadvantages)

Personality: Hitomi sees the positive aspects in people, and tends to give people the benefit of the doubt. She is a loyal, dependable person; one who takes her word and actions seriously. She places the good of the group above her own needs.
She has strong faith, pride and loyalty to her clan, the Hyuuga. She loves her clan, and is proud to be part of it; much of her motivation comes from wanting to bring honour (or not to dis-honour) the Hyuuga. She is a branch house member, but doesn't see it as a completely negative thing. Instead, she feels that it is a necessary division, and helps bring order and clear hierarchy to the Hyuuga. She sees the benefit in the fact that, were she to die, the secrets of the Byakugen would not be discovered. This means that she can be than much more useful to her clan.
Hitomi was raised to be polite and reserved in manner; something that she generally is. Around friends-the people she feels comfortable around- she is more open and informal. She takes fighting very seriously, and thinks about the consequences of her actions. As I said above, she believes in putting the good of the group ahead of her own wants and needs; and would unquestioningly accept a suicide mission (though perhaps not one like in 'Charge of the Light Brigade' ¬¬
